The Vitamin C Shower Filter That Neutralizes Chlorine
43 grams of pure L-ascorbic acid per cartridge,
a number no other brand publishes.
Four scents. Watch it work.

It might not be your shampoo.
Municipal water is chlorinated to keep it safe to drink. That same chlorine strips the natural oils from your skin and hair every time you shower.
Dry, flaky skin that no moisturizer fixes. Hair that feels like straw. That faint pool smell in the bathroom. People spend years changing products before they check the water.
How It Works
43 grams. Not a percentage.
Search this category and you'll find percentages everywhere. "99.9% removal." "98.7% of the bad stuff." Almost nobody publishes an absolute number.
Percentages without conditions are close to meaningless. Independent labs have tested filters marketed at 98.7% chlorine removal and measured zero.
A gram figure can be checked. Each Pluvena cartridge holds 43 grams of L-ascorbic acid, which neutralizes roughly 17 grams of free chlorine — about 7,200 litres of typical municipal water.
We'd rather compete on a number that can be proven wrong.

What Pluvena is, and isn't.
Pluvena removes free chlorine. Completely, and we publish the maths.
It does not soften hard water. It does not remove chloramine, heavy metals, or disinfection byproducts. Nothing that screws onto a shower arm does those things well.
If your problem is limescale and chalky residue, you need a softener, not a filter. If it's dryness, itching, or that chemical smell — chlorine is a likely culprit, and this is built for exactly that.
We'd rather you knew what you were buying.

Questions? We've got answers.
How long does one cartridge last?
How long does one cartridge last?
Each cartridge is rated for 7,200 litres which is about 120 showers at a typical
8-minute shower. For one person showering daily, that's roughly 3–4 months.
For two people, 1–2 months.
If your water is heavily chlorinated, it will be less.
Here's the math:
Each cartridge holds 43 grams of L-ascorbic acid, which neutralizes about
17 grams of free chlorine. At 2.4 ppm chlorine, that's 7,200 litres. At 4.0 ppm, the EPA's maximum, it's closer to 4,300 litres.
The coloured gel visibly depletes, so you'll see when it's time to refresh.
