Vitamin C Shower Filters

A vitamin C shower head filter neutralizes the free chlorine in your tap water before it reaches your skin and hair. Municipal water is chlorinated to keep it safe to drink, but that same chlorine strips natural oils — leaving skin dry and flaky and hair brittle.

Each Pluvena cartridge holds 43 grams of L-ascorbic acid — pure vitamin C — which reacts with free chlorine on contact and converts it to harmless chloride. It's the same dechlorination chemistry recognized by the EPA and AWWA water standards. One cartridge is rated for about 120 showers, and the colored gel visibly depletes so you always know when to refresh.
